About Me

My Journey as an Author Walking With God

When I look back at my life, I see a road marked with struggles, challenges, and battles that often left me broken. But in the midst of it all, I also see the hand of God guiding me, carrying me, and never letting me go.

Becoming an author was never about chasing recognition—it was about sharing my story in a way that could bring hope to others. My book, Grappling With Paralyzed Emotions, came out of some of the hardest seasons of my life. Seasons of pain, confusion, and moments when I felt like giving up. But every time I thought I had nothing left, God reminded me that His strength is made perfect in my weakness.

I am not a preacher by title. I am, as every Christian is, an Ambassador of God’s Kingdom—a follower of Jesus Christ. I can preach, and I can teach, but above all, I am called to live as His representative in this world. Writing this book was an act of obedience to Him. It was never just my words—it was His Spirit working through me to reach those who are hurting, those who feel lost, and those who need to be reminded that God still has a plan for them.

Every page of my book carries a piece of my journey, but more importantly, it carries the message of God’s faithfulness. My prayer is that when people read my story, they don’t just see me—they see Christ in me. Because without Him, there would be no story to tell, no testimony to share, and no reason to keep going.

I dedicate everything I do—my writing, my teaching, my life—to God. He is the Author of my story, and I am simply His vessel. And as long as He gives me breath, I will keep writing, sharing, and living with Him at the center of it all.

✝️ “I can do nothing without God, but with Him, all things are possible.”

My Desire for this Book

When I actually wrote these letters back in 1988, I wrote them as a collection of letters for my first psychiatrist. My hope was for her to be able to see inside me and my mind. Hoping it would help her know more about the experience of schizoaffective disorder. To my surprise, my doctor asked me to publish it, believing that it would help many people; from doctors, to the diagnosed, and even the family and friends of those with it.

My prayer is that not only will this book help those with a mental illness to understand much better about what they are or will be going through, but that this book will help doctors and therapists understand the patient and the illness better. I pray that everyone who reads this book begins to realize there is a hope for sanity, and that it can be achieved. May all readers find peace of mind reading this book.

Edge of Your Seat Honesty

Grappling with Paralyzed Emotions is an extended edition of my first book.  A lot of material that was left out of the original due to editing has been added, as well as 4 additional chapters from present day. I still believe that it is fear of the unknown that makes people fear mental illness as a whole.  I am happy to talk with anyone who has a desire to talk with me.  I am available on social media and by email.  And please. if you are feeling like giving up, reach out to someone.  988 will connect you to someone to talk to immediately.  And remember, YOU ARE NOT ALONE and JESUS IS WITH YOU ALWAYS
